Required vaccines listed below - vaccinations shall be administered, by a veterinarian, at least 10 days prior to boarding to help support immunity
Proof of vaccination must be uploaded prior to check-in
Pets must be free of fleas/ticks and in good health
Pets showing illness upon arrival may be declined for safety
Dogs - Required for Boarding & Grooming
Rabies
DHPP (or DAPP/DHLPP) (Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parvovirus, Parainfluenza)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Dogs - Strongly Recommended
Canine Influenza (CIV: H3N2, H3N8 strains) & Leptospirosis
Cats - Required for Boarding & Grooming
Rabies
FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (herpesvirus), Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
Cats - Strongly Recommended
Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) – especially for cats that go outdoors or may have contact with other cats.
Drop-off / Pick-up
All Dogs must be leashed at Drop-off/Pick-up
Standard Hours
Morning: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Evening: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Appointments
Alternate arrangements may be made by appointment if needed.
Early / Late Fees
Early drop-off or late pick-up without prior approval will incur a $10 per pet fee.
If arranged ahead of time, early/late pick-ups or drop-offs may be accommodated at no additional cost.
Overnight Boarding Charges
Boarding is billed by calendar day.
Example: Drop-off on Tuesday and pick-up on Wednesday = two calendar days of boarding.
Guests may use either the morning or evening window for both drop-off and pick-up.
Day Boarding
Morning drop-off (7:30–9:30 AM).
Evening pick-up (4:00–6:00 PM).
Cancellations
Holiday & Peak Seasons
During holidays and peak travel times, stricter cancellation terms apply. Full payment may be required in advance, and deposits are non-refundable.No-Shows & Last-Minute Cancellations
No-Shows and Cancellations within 24 hours of reservation date will be charged the full amount of the reserved stay.

To ensure fair scheduling and availability during our busiest times of year, the following policies apply:
Minimum Stay Requirements
A 3-night minimum is required for major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
Stays shorter than 3 nights may be charged at the 3-night rate.
Peak Season Dates
Blue Ruff Pet Lodge observes holiday/peak season policies during:Thanksgiving week

Spring Break (varies by school district)

Food & Belongings
Food
We require all owners to bring their pet’s own food to keep them on a consistent diet. All food must be pre-portioned or labeled with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.Blue Ruff Pet Lodge will maintain a reserve supply of dry dog and cat food available. Original feeding instructions will be followed with supplemental food
Dog - Purina Pro Plan Chicken & Rice - $1/cup
Cat - Purina Pro Plan Chicken & Rice - $2/cup
Bedding
Each kennel is equipped with a clean, elevated dog bed for comfort. Personal bedding is not required, but you’re welcome to bring blankets or familiar bedding items to help your pet feel at home.What Not to Bring
For safety, please do not bring rawhides, treats that could become a choke hazard, glass, breakable items, or valuables.Liability
While we take every precaution to keep belongings safe, Blue Ruff Pet Lodge is not responsible for loss or damage of personal items.
Medication & Special Care
Medication Administration
We are happy to administer oral and topical medications as directed. For safety reasons injections will not be administered.Labeling Requirements
All medications must be brought in their original container, clearly labeled with your pet’s name, dosage, and instructions. Please provide written instructions at check-in.Medication Fees

We welcome senior pets and those with special needs. Extra time, care, and monitoring will be provided to ensure their comfort and safety. Any special handling or medical requirements must be discussed with staff prior to booking, additional fees may apply.
Behavior & Temperament
The safety and well-being of every guest is our priority.
All dogs must be non-aggressive and able to safely interact with staff and other pets.
For group play, dogs are required to pass a temperament assessment prior to participation.
Pets displaying aggression, excessive barking, or unsafe behavior may be removed from daycare or boarding activities.
Owners are fully responsible for any damages, injuries, or incidents caused by their pet while in our care.
Emergency & Veterinary Care
If your pet becomes ill or injured, we will contact you immediately.
If you cannot be reached, we will contact your emergency contact and/or your veterinarian.
In urgent cases, we will seek care from the nearest Emergency Veterinary Clinic.

A transportation charge will be applied for all Veterinary visits - Paid to Blue Ruff Pet Lodge

Liability Waiver / Acknowledgement
While Blue Ruff Pet Lodge takes every precaution to provide a safe, clean, and caring environment, pet boarding and daycare involve inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, stress, or unexpected behavioral issues. By enrolling your pet, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Blue Ruff Pet Lodge, its owners, and staff will not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, or death of your pet while in our care. All veterinary expenses or damages arising from your pet’s actions remain the sole responsibility of the pet’s owner.
By booking services with Blue Ruff Pet Lodge, you agree to release and hold harmless the facility, its owners, and employees from any and all liability, claims, or expenses related to your pet’s participation in boarding, daycare, or related services.
Photo & Media Consent
At Blue Ruff Pet Lodge, we love sharing the fun and smiles from our guests’ stays. From time to time, we may take photos or short videos of pets during boarding or daycare for use on our website, social media, or promotional materials.
By boarding your pet with us, you give permission for Blue Ruff Pet Lodge to use these images.
